Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

In short: Lumiflit has no ads, no analytics and no account, and we (the developer) do not collect personal data. Your best score, stats, skins and settings stay on your device. If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, your scores and achievements are shared with Google. Feedback reaches us only if you choose to send it by email.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Lumiflit app for Android ("the app" or "the game") and this website ("the website") handle information. They are made by the independent developer of Lumiflit ("we", "us", "our"). An iPhone and iPad version is planned; this policy will be updated to cover it before it is released. If you have a question, contact us using the details at the end.

2. What we do not collect

The app has no ads and no analytics, and it contains no advertising, analytics, attribution or tracking software. There is no Lumiflit account and we run no servers that the app talks to. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers, advertising ID or browsing history. The game plays fully offline.

If we ever add ads or analytics in the future, they will be off until this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety section say so, and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.

3. Information kept on your device

The app saves a few values in its private storage on your phone or tablet, only so the game works:

  • your best score, your stats (games played, total points and flaps, play time, medals, days played) and the skins you have unlocked and chosen;
  • your settings, listed in the table above;
  • small counters and dates, so the tutorial shows only on your first few flights, and the feedback and rating prompts appear rarely (section 6);
  • if you use Google Play Games while offline, the scores and achievements still waiting to be sent to it;
  • a feedback message you are still writing, so it is not lost if Android closes the app.

This information never leaves your device through the app, and other apps cannot read it. You can clear it at any time with Settings → Data → Reset progress, by clearing the app's storage, or by uninstalling it (see Data deletion).

Device backups

If backup is turned on, Android may include the app's saved values in your device backup to your Google account, as it does for most apps, so they can be restored on a new device. These backups are made and controlled by Android and Google. We do not receive them and cannot access them.

4. Google Play Games (optional)

The app supports Google Play Games Services for leaderboards and achievements. Using it is optional: the game plays exactly the same without it.

  • Sign-in. When the game starts, Google Play Games may sign you in automatically if you have a Play Games profile and have allowed it. Otherwise you can sign in from the Home screen or Settings.
  • What is sent. While you are signed in, the game sends your score when a flight ends and records the achievements you unlock. This is linked to your Play Games profile.
  • Who processes it. Google provides Play Games and processes this information under Google's Privacy Policy. Depending on your Play Games settings, other players may see your gamer name, avatar and score on the leaderboards.
  • What we see. In the Google Play Console we can see leaderboard entries (Play Games gamer names and scores) and achievement statistics. We do not receive your email address or your Google account.
  • If you are not signed in, nothing is sent. You can sign out, change who sees your profile or delete your Play Games data at any time in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account.

5. Feedback and support emails

Settings → Support → Send feedback lets you write us a note. Nothing is sent automatically: the app opens your own email app with the message filled in, and it is sent only if you press send there. If you have no email app, the app copies the message and can open our feedback form (a Google Form, run by Google under its privacy policy) so you can paste it there; again, nothing is sent unless you submit it.

  • The message contains the topic you picked, what you wrote and, if you typed one, the email address you want a reply at. Your email app also sends from your own address, as with any email.
  • Include device info (ticked by default, and you can untick it) adds the app version, Android version, device model, and your graphics and frame-rate settings. It never includes personal identifiers such as your name, contacts, location, account or advertising ID. You can preview exactly what is added before sending.

We use feedback and emails only to read them, fix problems, improve the game and reply to you. We never sell them, share them or use them for marketing, and we delete them when they are no longer needed, normally within 12 months.

6. Ratings, updates and sharing

At a natural moment, such as after a new personal best, the app may ask Google Play to show its standard rating card, at most once a month. Google decides whether it appears and handles any rating or review under its own policy; the game is never told whether or how you rated it. The app can also ask Google Play whether a newer version is available. Rate the game opens the store listing, and Share opens Android's share sheet with a short message and a link; the app you share with receives that message under its own policy. We receive nothing from any of these.

Separately, after you have played for a while, the game may occasionally ask whether you would like to send feedback (at most three times, and never again if you choose "Don't ask again"). This prompt is decided entirely on your device.

7. Permissions

  • Vibrate: for the gentle haptic buzz on each flap. You can turn it off in Settings → Audio & Feel → Haptics.
  • Network access: used only by Google's Play Games, rating and update components described above, and to open this website's Help, Privacy and Terms pages when you choose them. The game itself needs no internet to play.

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, storage or notification permissions.

8. Google Play

When you install the app from Google Play, Google processes your download under Google's Privacy Policy. Through the Play Console, Google gives us aggregated statistics (such as installs and ratings) and anonymous crash and performance reports from people who chose to share diagnostics with Google. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems and improve the game.

9. This website

The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts (its font is served from the website itself). If you turn on its optional background music, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage on your device; it is never sent to us. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which, like any web host, processes technical information about each request (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) in its logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Vercel's Privacy Policy. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

10. How long information is kept

InformationHow long
Progress and settings on your deviceUntil you reset progress, clear the app's storage or uninstall it
Play Games scores and achievementsAs long as your Play Games profile keeps them, under Google's policies, or until you delete them
Feedback and emails to usUntil your request is resolved, normally no longer than 12 months
Website server logsAs set by Vercel, typically a short period

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal information about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent, including under the EU and UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and US state laws such as the CCPA.

  • Apart from emails you send us, we hold no personal information about you, so there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. We will still answer any request, normally within 30 days.
  • Your Play Games data is held by Google: you can view, download and delete it with Google's tools (see Data deletion), and we can remove your scores from our leaderboards on request.
  • We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
  • You may complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to help first.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you to handle emails you send us.

12. Children

Lumiflit is a calm game for a general audience. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no ads or purchases. A child's use of Google Play Games is governed by Google and the parent's settings, such as Family Link. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security

The game keeps its data in the app's private storage, which Android protects from other apps, and the website is served only over HTTPS. Because we collect so little, very little could ever be exposed; still, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app or the website handles information, for example by adding a new online feature or the iPhone version, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
