Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Lumiflit app ("the game") and this website, made by the independent developer of Lumiflit ("we", "us"). By installing or using the game, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

2. What you may not do

• copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game, or any of its code, art, music, sounds or text;
• modify, decompile or reverse engineer the game, except where the law allows this despite these terms;
• cheat on or manipulate the leaderboards, or interfere with Google Play Games;
• remove or change any copyright or licence notices, or present the game as your own work.

3. Ownership

The game's code, art, sound, text and visual design were made for Lumiflit and are protected by copyright. The name Lumiflit and its icon identify the game; these terms don't give you any right to use them. The game also includes third-party materials under their own licences, such as the Outfit font (SIL Open Font License) and open-source software libraries listed in the game under Settings → Open-source licenses. Those licences, not these terms, govern those materials.

4. Price and purchases

The game is free and has no ads and no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, the store listing and these terms will say so first.

5. Google Play and Google Play Games

You get the game through Google Play, under Google's own terms. Leaderboards and achievements are provided by Google Play Games; using them is optional and subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We may remove leaderboard entries that look manipulated.

6. Play comfortably

Lumiflit is designed to be calm, but please take breaks, play somewhere safe, and stop if you feel discomfort. The game has a Reduce motion setting that removes screen shake and flashes. If you or anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or seizures triggered by light, ask a doctor before playing video games.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the game and the website handle information. In short, we collect no personal data.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the game or any feature at any time, for example to fix problems or add new forests. Your progress is stored on your device, so uninstalling the game or resetting progress removes it.

9. No warranty

The game and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that the game will be error-free, always available or compatible with every device.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the game or the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. If you break these terms, your licence to play ends.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and if the changes are important we will tell you in the game or on this website. Continuing to use the game means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
